It's also a travesty no one said Sean Connery immediately.

Jennifer Tilly +1
Bea Arthur +1
Scarlett Johansson
Peter Cullen
Bryan Cranston
Peter Dinklage (insert Destiny joke here)

+1 for Kelsey Grammer. He was on a recent Modern Family episode (I think it was recent?) and MAN that voice.

Also +1 for the voice of Death in Darksiders II (Wincott).

I'm very partial to Zoe Wanamaker's voice. I think she narrated most or all of the Fable games, didn't she? Also like Linda Hunt's voice, who was the narrator and Gaia in God of War. I love Stephen Fry's voice in LittleBigPlanet. It's so comforting and fits the style of the game perfectly.

My favourite ever is probably Alan Rickman though. An amazing voice which just seemed so devious and deep and understated.

Morgan Freeman is an overrated actor purely because of his voice so yeah, I'd probably give it to him.

Blessed isn't fair to bring up, nothing can compete with his booming bellows.

Oh, one blast from the past, too. Valentine Dyall. Also worked with the Goons on occasion, always fun to hear comedy from someone you're not used to!

(That said, does 'actor from the days of radio' count as 'voice actor'? He wasn't *professionally* targetting voice work, just... that's what was broadcast!)

Love Bryan Cranston's voice. So menacing when it needs to be. I also love Charlie Day's voice. I don't know why.

Also Jimmy Stewart.

Voice to look out for is Gary Anthony Williams. He's the voice of TV One's Unsung series of Teledocumentaries.

And yes, he played the voice of Uncle Ruckus on The Boondocks.

I've sat through multiple of his movies, which are literally just him sitting at a desk telling a story for 90 minutes, and they're fucking fantastic.

Jeremey Irons has an incredibly villainous voice.

Ian McShane is also up there.
