I really hope that Snipperclips will be put online the moment the eShop goes live instead of actually waiting for 03/03. Otherwise I'll have nothing to play Thursday :(

If it's like the PS3/4 (which it kind of sounds like it is??), then you could make a 2nd account set in Japan, access that region's shop, buy a currency card for that region, buy & download it, then switch accounts.

I'm fairly certain that's what I've heard when it comes to accounts for the Switch, but if someone wants to correct me, go ahead.

Having access to Japanese eShop really is something. Probably won't use it much, but good for the occasional option!

New games announced for Switch:

De Mambo - Simple battle action with multiplayer focus. Looks like it has a single mode with platformers.

New Frontier Days ~Founding Pioneers~ - It's the game named Shin Daikaitaku Jidai: Gai o Tsukurou in Japan which it launchs this Friday. Strategy game about the building of a town and colonize lands.

No date for No Mambo and New Frontier Days is a new launch title for the Switch in every territory.

Obviously they already know what games will be available but prefer spread out announcements than just putting out a compiled list. So maybe some small surprises still left.

Neutopia and Dungeon Explorer (both TG16) are coming to Wii U VC in North America tomorrow.

Also, anyone know a way to get prices for European Switch stuff on the eShop?

UK Nintendo Switch eShop Lists Neo Geo Titles for Launch Day

The two titles showing are Shock Troopers and World Heroes Perfect, and tapping on them brings up an initial screen with a UK price - £6.29 a piece. All the information is there, including a snazzy option for looking at screens, so it seems the games are indeed coming.

Those are the only two showing, and currently searching for other games returns no results, so this Coming Soon display seems to have been an area missed by Nintendo when blocking info on the eShop pre-launch. It'll be interesting to see whether these titles come to EU at midnight launch day, and of course whether North America will get in on the action.

I called it.

Edit: Yup I just looked at my Switch eShop and can confirm the NeoGeo games we (New Zealand) have available are:

The King of Fighters '98
Waku Waku 7
World Heroes Perfect
Metal Slug 3

Pretty darn good, not trickling out the early releases first (yet at least) like some of the other consoles.

Just a suggestion for the OP:
It would be best to have all the relevant information in there in an easy-to-see format. The old format without images was much more suitable for that. Also, having the prices and discounts would also be better. Meanwhile, information about the genre is kind of unnecessary and make it difficult to look through.

Considering we have different releases for different regions, I'd also suggest going back to a regional formatting as that also makes it easier to look through.

Sorry to say, but I think at displaying information the previous format was much better. The new one looks pretty chaotic.

That’s why Nintendo Switch has parental controls that let you set rules for them from your smart device with this free app available today on App Store and Google Play. Virtual Console on Wii U

- Dungeon Explorer – Dungeon Explorer is a multiplayer action-RPG for the TurboGrafx-16 system in which up to five players can play at the same time. Choose from eight different character types: Fighter, Thief, Warlock, Witch, Bishop, Elf, Bard or Gnome. To survive, you most know all about your enemies’ weaknesses. You must also know about the special attributes of each magic spell and use them to your greatest advantage.

- NEUTOPIA – In this classic action-RPG for TurboGrafx-16, take control of a brave boy who sets off on a journey to rescue the kidnapped princess and reclaim the eight medallions that were stolen by an evil demon. You’ll need to rely on your magic compass and information you’ve gathered to find entrances to labyrinths and defeat the bosses in them. I want a light, fun action game for my switch but all there seems to be is Shovel Knight. Have it on 3DS and don't think I should double dip on it since I wasn't blown away and haven't played it since launch.

So my day 1 will be:

- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Super Bomberman R
- Snipperclips
- Metal Slug 3

Zelda and multiplayer heaven.

No enough money to get more games. :(

Yeah, if you played through all of SK and aren't inclined to double dip I'd trust your gut! Hmm, Bomberman or RMX wouldn't fit the bill? RMX seems good for pick up and play a session. No strictly action but surely adrenaline pumping. (Speaking of which, does anyone know if you can change the camera in the game to be more like F-Zero? It's kinda dizzying to me in vids that it wraps side to side to follow the car.)

Sorry, I am in the US. I would think about getting it if US was getting a bunch of arcade classics like that.

I can't justify Bomberman at that high a price when I know I am only getting it for maybe multiplayer. I am hesitant on RMX b/c I love FAST but I have it on Wii/Wii U and not good enough to unlock all the tracks. Plus once Mario Kart comes out, no one I know will dare try FAST.

Has anyone here bought something from the nintendo online store? Hows the shipping, both price and time wise? Want to get some stylus replacements and other small things.

Thank the maker! That was one of the most annoying/baffling things on 3DS.

I wanted to buy the new Parascientific Escape game ("Gear Detective") while waiting for Zelda, but it's not on the DE eShop. Is this DE shenanigans again, or what is going on? :/

It says"not out on eShop" on the DE website too, but release date states today...

Ask Circle Ent. on Twitter. They usually reply these questions.

Btw, what did it happen with Tomorrow Corporation games? I don't see them on the PRs.

Great OP and thanks for setting it up again Tolkir.

Can't believe the Switch is nearly here! Hopefully finishing up Final Fantasy V tonight just in time to dive into Breath of the Wild tomorrow (and abandon all other games for the next month or so).

Aside from that, I'm gonna pick up Setsuna, and double dip on Shovel Knight and Fast RMX.

- Snipperclips (all)
- Dragon Quest Heroes I & II (JPN only)
- Puyo Puyo Tetris (JPN only)

Are these all of the Switch demos so far?
Maybe it'd be useful to keep a list of all demos so people know specifically what to look for when visiting foreign eShops...?

Hnnng, Blaster Master for 3DS or Switch?

I should go with new hotness but 2D in 3D is a weakness of mine (if it even has it).

Ghost Blade HD now available for Wii U.

It's a vertical bullet-hell Japanese style space shooter.

Is it any good? Did anybody buy it?
