Darren Lock - he does music reviews and unboxings mostly, prog related but lately he's added a lot more variety to that. He's a good guy but... no, Invisible Touch is not the best Genesis album. Like... are you serious?

He had a video last year blow up where he did a test for autism with his two children and it got more views than anything he ever did. I don't think he found many new subs but it was crazy seeing a video of his break over 100000 - he's a really cool guy imo.

The only non-gaming channel I actually follow (out of 4) is World Magic Shop, primarily for their magic review show. Doing some rough maths, I watched about 120 hours of it over the past few months.

Some of the most gruesome clay-animation out there. Looks like a lot of work, though.

Gonna give Forgotten Weapons another shout out here. Basically a channel dedicated to taking a closer look at a bunch of rare, experimental, or obscure weapons. Usually his videos feature a fair bit of history behind each piece, a disassembly of the gun for a view of the mechanics, and in some cases a look at the gun on the range.

He's done videos on old wheellock rifles and muskets, exotic trials guns which never got past testing, unique one-of-a-kind pistols and bizarre Chinese knock offs, as well as a bunch of weapons which see more action on the big screen than they ever did in real life (including a look at one of the world's only remaining Pancor Jackhammers - the automatic shotgun from Max Payne).

He also does book reviews and interviews with other gun historians. Generally a really interesting and informative channel!

I don't know why. It's just super interesting for some reason.

I love MRE review channels. I dunno, I guess it's just the idea of cramming so much resources into a small confined area while still being fulfilling.

HBCUBANDS.Com - another awesome resource for HBCU band stuff

The Proper People - Urban exploration at abanded places.
Exploring With Josh - Same as one above
NPR Music - Great mini concert series

I like his tutorials but I can't stand the way he talks.

jabman025 for Gundam kit reviews

I've checked out allot of gundam channels but jabman stays as one of my favorites. Way too many reviewers shoot their videos all in one-go, once they're done building, and the problems with it are many and obvious. All you have to see is the finished kit, often static, right in front of you for the whole video, and for some strange reason the large majority of them do no editing whatsoever or they put their reviews in multi-part videos where they cover everything imaginable.

Jabman cuts out all that bullshit. He only shows runners and other stuff like manuals or packed in material if they're special to that kit in some way. His video footage is all recorded as he's building the kit so you can see what's going on (as opposed to being told 'the mechanism beneath the armor allow this movement!'). It's all spliced together footage shot with an intent to communicate specific points and that he's clearly recording commentary for after the fact, as opposed to just meandering into a mic by a camera for a half hour+. The editing's not even perfect as he often has time left over in individual cuts but it's so far and above the average that it stands out.

Also I like his voice. Strong, opinionated, convincing.

For me, I don't watch any gaming channels (other than Game Scoop), so all of my channels fit here. Most of the ones I follow are ASMR.

Quang Tran. Guy does MUKBANG videos and not only is he an incredibly legit cook, his personality is hella entertaining (dat chicken ass obsession!) and he just seems like such a genuine, nice guy.

Added bonus: he has an adorable dog called "kitty" that features frequently in his vids.
